NordForsk in collaboration with Nordic research councils is announcing a new call under the Nordic Programme on Health and Welfare. The call targets research utilising the unique Nordic research infrastructures made up by population-based registers and health-care data. The research should address societal challenges and use register-data from combined data sources (i.e. both socio-economic and health-related data).
The funded research should utilise Nordic register-data to answer novel research questions that address grand societal challenges relating to health and welfare, and thereby provide a foundation for future policy incentives and interventions.
The total budget for the call is approximately NOK 67 million, and the maximum funding amount that may be sought is NOK 10 million. Funding will be granted for a period of 3-5 years.
The call will be published in the end of June.
The deadline for submitting applications is 5 October 2016.
