SCB and SoS information on registers and register-based research – October 8, 2013

Statistics Sweden (SCB) invites scientists to a day dedicated to information exchange related to register-based research. Emphasis is put on existing data at SCB, privacy and how person identified data shall be handled in research. Furthermoreopportunity will be given to ask questions to Bengt Westerberg heading the investigation "prerequisites for register-based research". After lunch the National Board of Health and Welfare (SoS) are hosting four sessions focused on their registers, on the national quality registers and how researchers can be supported by Register Service at SoS.
