Swedish National Data Service (SND) will arrange the following meetings in Gothenburg in November 2014:
A network meeting for PhD students November 10, which will focus on central issues for handling register data. The various steps of data handling will be discussed and time will allow for discussing research material of participants. A short introduction to tools for documentation will also be included (such tools can make data handling more efficient). It is possible to apply for travel grants.
A national research workshop November 11, which will focus on prerequisites and guidelines for making research material available (via presentations and discussions). The Swedish Research Council (VR) will present the work with national guidelines and Vinnova will account for the ongoing Open Research Data Pilot of the EU framework programme Horizon 2020.
